The splendid Nina Shea of the Hudson Institute reminds us that, “Were the U.S. State Department to quietly drop its concern about the Uighur genocide for the sake of climate change partnership with China, it would be tragic for the Uighur Muslims. It would also thoroughly betray the 73-year genocide pledge of “never again”.
