Apple Supplier Charged with Exploiting Uyghur Forced Labor

We hear a lot about “reckonings” these days. But surely something has to be done about the atrocious human-rights abuses in China that appear to include slave/forced labor for the benefit of American companies such as Apple. Read More ›

Chinese Government Goes After Nuns!

The pope just renewed the Vatican’s deal with the Communist Chinese to govern the appointment of bishops in China. In what I interpret as a show of utter contempt for the Church, the government has now forced nuns to leave a convent. From the Catholic News Agency story: Due to pressure from the Chinese government, eight Catholic nuns have reportedly been forced to leave their convent in the northern province of Shanxi. Their current whereabouts have not been reported. “Officials declared us ‘dangerous persons’ and repeatedly harassed us,” said one of the nuns, according to Bitter Winter, an Italian magazine that focuses on human rights and religious liberties in China. “They asked us to write down what we had done since kindergartens and demanded to Read More ›

Xi Orders Increased Tibet Repression to Fight ‘Splittism’

The Chinese Communist Party loathes all religion as competing with the government’s intent to force the people of China to give full and undivided fealty to the State. Falun Gong are arrested and organ harvested. Read More ›

More Evidence of ‘Organs on Demand’ System in China

China has been repeatedly and credibly accused of organ harvesting the Falun Gong and other political prisoners, usually for the black market, in which rich foreigners needing a transplant travel there and buy their lives at the cost of ending someone else’s. It is an evil trade, and one for which China should be shunned by the international community. Now, we have even more evidence that China has the ability to obtain organs on demand. A Chinese woman living in Japan was flown there for a heart transplant and was able to have four made available for transplant in ten days. From the Epoch Times story: “The question is: who is the source for these 4 hearts,” said Dr. Torsten Trey, executive director of the medical Read More ›

Uighurs Need All the Help They Can Get

China is the most effectively tyrannical country on earth and one of the most despotic in history. As if the COVID debacle and Hong Kong suppression weren’t enough, these days it is energetically suppressing religious belief — because to the Communist Party leaders, there can only be one source of truth and one locus of loyalty, and that is the State. Taiwan ‘Didn’t Trust Either the Chinese Government or the Head of the World Health Organization’

Why has Taiwan done so well in combating COVID-19 — this pestilence that the press initially was calling the “Chinese coronavirus” or “Wuhan virus”? Simple: Taiwan’s leadership assumed everything it was hearing was a lie. A PBS News Hour feature sheds light on the skeptic posture that America must adopt toward Beijing going forward. Read More ›

Businesses Must Not Cooperate with the ‘Fourth Reich’ of Communist China

Human exceptionalism imposes duties as well as rights. A crucial obligation of each and every one of us is to treat each of our human brothers and sisters as equals. Hence, slavery is evil and the antithesis of human exceptionalism because it treats equals as unequal and human beings as objects to be exploited for the benefit of those with the power to control the enslaved. Ditto, forced labor camps filled with people imprisoned due to political or religious persecution — as occurs with appalling efficiency in the “Fourth Reich” that is Communist China. Internationally prominent companies are being charged in the media with benefiting from forced labor in China. From the AFP story: China is transferring tens of thousands of Uighur Read More ›
